Carl Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.). He received his B.A. degree in psychology from the California State University, Fullerton in 1986. He continued his education and earned his Masters in Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of Southern California in 1988.

Carl has experiences as a clinical social worker in various settings. These include:

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, Ingleside Hospital, Harbor- UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles Count - USC Medical Center, Child Guidance Center of Orange County, Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, and the Orange County Department of Education.

Carl's is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and the California Society for Clinical Social Work.

Carl's professional activities have been various and have included providing psychosocial evaluations, crises oriented family therapy, individual and group psychotherapy to adults, children and adolescents. He has worked with poly-substance abusers. He has taught retarded, multiply handicapped and autistic individuals from ages 3 to 22 years. He has held positions in hospital Emergency Rooms providing evaluations and case management services to individuals in crises.

In addition to his professional social work activities Carl is Song Writer, Performer, Recording Artist. He has been under contract to United Artists Records, CBS Records and MCA Records.

Carl brings to his work an understanding and compassion for the working individual. He has held employment positions as a house painter, apprentice carpenter, casual laborer, ranch hand and grape picker.
