Fariba Kezel., is a licensed California Psychologist. (License # PSY 20295). She received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Psychology from The School of Psychology and Education, Tehran, Iran in 1986. She received her Master of
Science degree in Psychology from the University of Medical Sciences (Tehran Institute of Psychiatry) in Tehran,
Iran in 1992. She received her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology at the California Graduate Institute in 2004. Dr
Kezel completed a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the St. Jude Hospital brain injury rehabilitation
unit, which included neuropsychological evaluation and consultation.
Fariba has had five years of clinical experience in an Iranian private practice, a psychiatric clinic, and a
psychiatric hospital. She has completed her internship at the California Graduate Institute Counseling Center where
she performed psychological assessments, couples and individual therapy. She has also worked with the Golden Manner
Retirement Home in Montebello, California and the Orange County Public Defender Office in Santa Ana,
California.
Fariba is an affiliate member of the American Psychological Association (APA). She is a member of the National
Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN).
Fariba is of Persian nationality. She is totally fluent in English. She is easy to speak with and is integrated
into the American mainstream as well as being culturally diverse and linked to the Persian culture.
