Coleen O'Toole is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters degree in Clinical
Community Psychology from the California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1982. She completed her undergraduate
work and was awarded her B.A. degree in psychology from the University of California, Riverside in 1978. Coleen is
a Certified Employee Assistance Program Counselor (CEAP) since 1996.

Employee Assistance Counselor: Providing a full range of EAP services to USPS workers and their families.
Including Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Evaluation and Referral, Outpatient Psychotherapy and Family
Counseling, Critical Incident Debriefing, Threat Assessment, and Training, 1994-2001.
Case Manager: Reviewed in and out patient psychotherapy cases and authorized treatment. Value Behavioral
Healthcare, 1993-1994.
Coordinator of Admissions: Eating Disorder Unit Charter Community Hospital. Duties included assessment,
screening, and clinical services to inpatient Eating Disorder Patients and their families. 1985-1986.
Group Consultant - Coordinator: Education and Advisement, Anorexic / Bulimic Anonymous self help group: 1986 -
1992.
Contract Therapist: Group leader of groups including, codependency, family group, and love addiction for
inpatient woman's program, Charter Hospital of Long Beach 1989-1992.
Crisis Counselor Psychiatric Emergency Team: Evaluation and referral of crisis patients in a medical emergency
room, mobile PET services, pre-admission clearance and telephone hot-line services. Charter Hospital of Long Beach,

Coleen is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and of the Employee

well as able to be direct and clear with the issues that may be difficult for someone to hear and deal with.
