Dr. Uzunov received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Multicultural Community
Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles in 1994. She received her
Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles
in 1992, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Fredonia New York
in 1990.
Clinical Experiences: Metropolitan State Hospital Staff Psychologist
Clinical. Duties: Conduct group and individual psychotherapy sessions with diverse ethnic and age groups in an
inpatient, forensic setting, and emphasis on court competency and psychiatric illnesses. Conduct psychological
evaluations and psycho-diagnostic assessments, participate in treatment planning process as a core member of an
interdisciplinary team, supervise pre-doctoral interns and serve on the Internship Advisory Committee.

develop the clinical skills of the special treatment program staff by conducting in-services.
