Ms. Barbick obtained her B.A. and M.S.W. at UCLA. She was licensed in California as a Clinical Social Worker (LCS3884) in 1973. She worked as a Social Worker for the Juvenile Court in North Carolina and at Child Protective Services in Los Angeles.

She was a Clinical Social Worker at the Kennedy Child Study Center attached to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica. Since 1988 she has been a Clinical Social Worker at College Hospital in Cerritos, California and is currently the Coordinator of Social Services for College Hospital and Clinical Coordinator for two adult inpatient units at College Hospital. She has been affiliated with Associated Therapists, Inc. since 1989.

Ms. Barbick specializes in Women's Issues, Adolescent Therapy, Depression and Family Therapy. She is behavioral in orientation and believes in short term therapy. She is particularly adept at working with families with troubled teenagers. She has developed a very strong reputation with our referral sources because of her fine work with adolescents and their families.
