Ginger Clark is a California licensed psychologist. She completed her Ph.D. in November of 2000 from Arizona State University. She earned her M.A. in 1998 and B.A. degree in 1992 in psychology from the California State University at Long Beach. Ginger is a full-time lecturer at California State University, Long Beach in the Department of Educational Psychology, Administration, and Counseling in the College of Education. She is part of the Counseling Programs' faculty and also coordinates the department's general education course for freshmen: Personal and Career Exploration

Ginger interned with the Counseling and Psychological Services office at California State University - Long Beach. She has been a Counselor and Course Developer at the Counselor Training Center, Arizona State University. She has been a Career Counselor for Talented At Risk Girls, a Sexual Abuse Counselor at the Center against Sexual Abuse in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a Counselor and supervised beginning level counselors for the Counselor Training Center, Arizona State University. She has provided individual, couples and family therapy for adults and adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds as a Case Manager at Charter Hospital at Chandler Arizona.

As well as her direct service experiences Dr. Clark has varied experiences in teaching as a lecturer at various universities. She has been involved in research projects and has currently finished her doctoral dissertation, "Parents, Kids, and Careers: Evaluating an Internet-Based Parent Education Program on Children's Career Development."

Ginger has published research articles in professional journals such as the Journal of Career Assessment, and the Education Policy Analysis Archive. She has presented papers and research findings including her dissertation paper at the American Psychological Association annual meeting in August of 2000.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the Western Psychological Association. She is a member of the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi since 1994, and Psi Chi since 1990.

Ginger's professional interests include: individual, group, and family services to adults, children and adolescents.

Ginger comes to Associated Therapists, as a well trained professional who is genuine and "down to earth". She is casual and easy to talk to. Her understanding of clients comes from both her training and her caring.
