Insurance Companies and Managed Care Contracts

Associated Therapists, Inc's professional staff are providers in a wide variety of mental health and behavioral medical plans. This list is not complete. If you do not see your insurance plan listed below please call our office for detailed information.

Associated Therapists is the exclusive mental health provider for the City of Long Beach Great West Life POS 100, POS 90 Insurance plans. We also are providers for the Great West Life PPO and High Deductible PPO Insurance plans.

Self Referrals:
Accessing services is easy and confidential. The client calls office for an appointment. He or she may be referred by a Primary Care Physician or EAP counselor, however this step is not required. Any person enrolled in the Great West Life Choice or PPO plans can self refer for Mental Health or Chemical Dependency services to Associated Therapists, Inc.

Authorizations:
Initial and continuing visit approval and re-approval is NOT necessary. Associated Therapists providers have the authority to approve care within their own office, thereby assuring confidentiality and faster initiation and continuation of care.

Flexible Limits:
Associated Therapists has the authority to flex annual and lifetime benefits to maximize the amount and level of treatment you can receive in any benefit year. Lifetime benefit changes requires the approval by the Great West Life Medical Director.
